Connect Harwell: COVID-19

Join us for our first online Connect Harwell networking event: COVID-19 connecting resources on Friday 15 May from 15:00 – 16:00 via Zoom webinar.

There will be plenty of time for Q&A and collaboration discussions via the webinar chat rooms, so pop the kettle on, slice a piece of your favourite home bake and join us to explore how the collective efforts here at Harwell may be able to assist in supporting the challenges faced during, and in the aftermath of, COVID-19.

Many Harwell Campus organisations are already contributing to the COVID-19 effort in a number of different ways. Hopefully we can build further on this by understanding if there are additional ways in which we could adapt products or skill-sets to address the current and future pandemics. There could be potential new opportunities arising for the campus to work together or with external organisations.

Usually hosted by different campus organisations, Connect Harwell’s bi-monthly events are open to all campus organisations and sectors, providing a central forum to network with colleagues from the 200+ companies and facilities spread across the site, our May event is going virtual to adhere to current social distancing restrictions.

If you cannot join us online in May, please invite colleagues to sign up in your place and also feel free to invite any contacts you may have from other campus-located organisations that you work with.
